Meeting Time: 7:00 PM
Meeting Frequency: Bi-weekly
Location: Private Home
Leader Names: Brian & Ady
Description/Study Topic:  This small group will utilize John Maxwell’s 21 Laws of Leadership as an anchor for leadership development. Our mission at Olivet Church is to gather, grow, and go. We will gather to advance and lead the mission, vision, and culture of Olivet Church. As leaders in Olivet’s mission, our primary purpose is to cohesively train up new leaders as we continue to grow and lead ourselves. There is no single greater force in leadership than developing a vision-led culture that people want to follow. Everything we need to learn about leadership (vision, purpose, strategy, communication, attitude, encouragement, mentoring, and follow-through) can be found in the pages of God’s Word. Let’s learn from the best leaders who ever lived: the men and women in the Bible. Leadership is for everyone, because every person who accepts Christ is called to influence others.

Meeting Day: Saturday
Meeting Time: 5:30pm
Meeting Frequency Bi-weekly
Location: Private Home
Leader Names: Eric & Deb
Description/Study Topic: This small group has been studying John Bevere’s, Bait of Satan. The book exposes one of the most deceptive snares Satan uses to get believers out of the will of God: offense. This trap restrains countless Christians, severs relationships, and widens the gulfs between us. Jesus said, "It is impossible that no offenses should come” (Luke 17:1). Although you will encounter offense, you can choose how you will react.

Attend Discipleship Pathway!

We were made to move. The Christian life is a journey, and we need a “road map” to help us along the way. To that end, Olivet Church has been developing a discipleship pathway to help people follow Jesus Christ more closely. A discipleship pathway is a sequenced plan to move disciples from one stage of growth to the next. It is broad enough to include everyone, but specific enough to meet each spiritual generation where they are.

Some components of the discipleship pathway curriculum include:
-Learning about sacred pathways to God and your personal
sacred pathway to connect with Him
-Understanding spiritual gifts and identifying your spiritual gifts
-Learning, understanding, and growing in the spiritual disciplines
-Learning how to lead a small group or ministry team
-Understanding and growing in the mission of making disciples
-Understanding the meaning of calling and applying it to your life.
