Olivet Church Teams
Hospitality:
This team welcomes and greets every person that attends Sunday Services. Additionally, this team consists of members that prepare and provide an inviting atmosphere in Fellowship Hall.
Children:
This team develops and implements learning experiences for children ages 3 through 5th Grade.
Youth:
This team creates an environment where junior and senior high students (Grades 6 through 12) can navigate the challenges of adolescence with a solid faith foundation and mutual support from relationships with other students.
Worship Arts:
This team leads the congregation in worship through theme-based singing and the use of instruments.
Media/Production:
This team provides the visual elements of the Sunday Services experience, ensures microphones are functioning properly, balances the sound of instruments and voices, and administers the Sunday Service online streaming platform.
Prayer:
This team gathers for weekly intercessory prayer to lift up the needs and requests of our church, community, nation, and world.
Small Groups:
This team is focused on leading small groups in prayer, Bible study & discussion, and fellowship.
Next Steps:
The team helps people identify a next step (e.g. serving on a team, getting baptized, joining a small group, attending the Olivet Discipleship Pathway) in their faith journey.
Tender Loving Care:
This team will care for the congregation during illnesses and following surgeries. The team members send cards, pray, coordinate meals, and visit senior homes, personal homes, and hospitals.
Local & Global Outreach:
This team is focused on opportunities to serve our local and global communities.
Trustees:
This team provides oversight and care of all local church property, buildings, and equipment in order to accomplish the mission of the church.
